    There is a possibility that it will leak. (the smaller molecules) That being said, I ran 530 synthetic on my 250K mile motor without any problems. I'd use synthetic 10w30 though. Just to be safe...

        Do this:

        Before the oil change drop in some Seafoam. Scott can give you the particulars.

        Change the oil and filter :drug:

        Any good brand of 10w40 Synth Blend.

        Add Lucas Oil stabilizer and hit the road!

          I've run Valvoline's SynPower synthetic oil in my old '89 TC and my current ride (a '90 GM) haven't had any problems.
