I'm gearing towards doing a 351 in my town car. I found a 351 out of a Police Interceptor for $100. The engine supposedly is "tired". I'm leaning towards a roller block anyway, but what can I strip from it that is specific to the 351 swap in my 87 Town Car. From what I am aware i can use the oil pan/ pump/pickup and supposedly the a.c. bracket setup is required, and difficult to find. How bout the distributor? I want to make sure I don't waste my time and money, but by the same token I don't want to pass this + and wish I had bought it later.

AC bracket is the only true hard to get part. I'd say buy it and take the AC bracket off and then re-sell the rest.

oil pan and AC bracket.... maybe the crank pulley. None of the top-end stuff is compatible with an EFI setup really. Block and heads were mediocre.
