Keep the flow and pressure down so the heater core doesn't explode. But they don't always work. I've still blown up 5 or 6.
I run a tad more RPM than most people however.

I purchased the real deal from Ford. I do notice lately a wirhing sound when I wind the engine out coming from behind the glove box. Probably the coolant being restricted before it hits the core.
yup, thats the gurgle. Mine developed that sound when I added the washer. The real deal is probably somewhat better suited but at the time I had a washer and I haven't felt motivated to fool with it again.
