All,
Ok, I tried the search - My search-fu is . . lacking.
I'm not going to be able to do it yet because it's FREEZING and I'll likely do more harm than good with my hands shaking, but....
I get that odd hunting when at a stoplight when the car is partway warmed up. If it's really cold, it doesn't do it, and if it's warmed up, it doesn't do it.
Fuel economy is in the toilet. Last tankful was 16.2 MPG, I'd say about 60% highway.
This tankful is looking a little bit better, but I don't know yet. I am usually in 3rd or 4th gear, though I'm not doing over 55. Still, I won't be able to afford to keep driving this thing at that rate - and that sort of fuel economy definitely indicates that SOMEthing is wrong.
Still, it's a huge drop from what the car was doing not too long ago - so during my tune-up, I must've snapped some plastic vacuum lines somewhere - I hope it's as simple as that, anyway.
But while some vacuum lines are obvious, some aren't. I didn't know that some of the plastic vacuum lines were in that serrated-looking sheath, for example. No doubt there's more vacuum lines than just those for the emissions systems, power brakes, etc.
In any case, I'd like to at least track down all of them so I can inspect for damage and replace as needed - so, does anyone have a large, clear diagram of all the lines for a stock 1987 lo-po?
