    Exhaust question

I have been putting new manifolds on my 85 CV to allow for the second o2 sensor for the SEFI swap, in the process I am going to do a whole new exhaust system. The car had the single exhaust with the Y pipe stock, and I am upgrading to duals while I'm at it. Currently I have the 'new' manifolds bolted on (1990 Lincoln manifolds) and that's it. I am getting some downpipes made at a local shop (no cats). So I'm waiting on that to continue farther.

I plan to go with straight pipes all the way to the axle and if I get some pipe to go over the axle I'll go to the bumper.

Eventually I will get some mustang or Mark 7 headers instead of the lincoln logs. If it's worth it.

My question is, will be there any noticeable difference between '90 TC manifolds and Mustang Headers?

And if I choose to get the headers, are they any longer than the TC manifolds? would I need new Downpipes?

    Thanks as always!

Yes, and yes, you'd need to at the very least modify the bell flange on the downpipes.

I forgot till just now, but i think i read the headers are 2.5" anyways and mine are 2" so it's pretty obvious they would need changed. Wasn't thinking about diameter
