well...all i know is what has worked for me on my SEFI boxes......i run the msd cap n rotor....the msd streetfire coil....bosch platinum plugs and ford racing wires(red...cause it looks cool....lol)...and have not had any problems, and have also notice a slight improvement in fuel mileage ,and a big improvement in starting(that could just be because every box i bought needed a tune-up...real bad....lol)

I have MSD wires, and MSD cap, stock style rotor, i really like iridium plugs, they will keep going long after coppers would useually fade out. i ran iridiums in my last ride, and pwill do so again. i should have kept them when i ripped the old motor out, doh! MSD coils are fairly cheep now lik 40 somethign at advanced, but i bet you could have them price match with jegs price of 30 something.89 townie, mild exhuast up grades, soon to have loud ass stereo....
