are there any dual exhaust kits out there that i can bolt on to an 86 grand marquis? or any kits that are relatively close to fitting without too much modification?? thanks!
no kits, but dual exhaust was a factory option.......what sort of exhaust are you after? headers and h pipe? or do you plan on keeping the current exhaust manifolds and cats?
the stock replacement tailpipes are only 2" if you want larger you need to get them custom bent, or use dynomax impala ss tailpipes (2.5" mandrel bent pipe) youre pretty close to me, i'm opening a shop soon specializing in ford repairs-mods.......catch up with me sometime

i'm just looking for something that won't be hard to fit, for the GM with the single exhaust, does it have the mounting points and hangar spots for the dual exhaust? and where can i get a factory dual exhaust new? i plan on replacing the mufflers with either straight pipe or magnaflows, sound like a good idea?
oh and how old does the car have to be before they stop doing emissions testing on it?
Nick,
There is a guy selling complete dual exaust sets on E-BAY for less than $200, shipping included. Yes, there are mounting points on the frame for the additional hangers. I found this out this past weekend, when I replaced the exaust on my 89 GM. I don't know the quality of the set being sold, but the price isn't bad at all. As far as emissions go, her on Long Island, a car has to be 25 years, and older to be exempt.
