        plus shipping, and time, and it ends up about the same price unless you're ordering other things from them and its coming from the same warehouse. Not everything is a great savings online. Always check the final price + shipping and compare that to buying local. Also, there is usually a 5% or so discount code from Rockauto, be sure to use it.

          Just ordered a set for my 87 GM but the last set only has about 12-13K on them so keeping the new set for "spares".

              Hey thanks again, I got everythgin. the PCV was still good. Since it was incredibly easy to replace and I was already there, i changed it all!

                The valve is usually OK, its the screen and the grommet that make the system not work. The screen clogs, and the grommet just won't seal to anything.

                  the grommet was still in good shape but came out as quick as a new one was put in......in fact...it was a little too easy

                    I actually put some ultra black RTV on the grommet to help it seal to the intake on my 88. and now it's not leaking near as much oil. go figure.

                      the replacement grommets don't always fit very snug. I've used heat shrink tube around the PCV to force a more snug fit. RTV under the grommet also works.
