New full exhaust, now slight hesitation. What to do

Over the weekend on my 85 marquis I put mustang Stock HO headders, off road H pipe and Mac flow path mufflers. Since then when I full throttle it there's a slight hesitation or stutter. When I'm cruising it's fine. Only under full throttle its a little rough.

I read a few months back a member had a similar problem and he drilled out a factory plug on the throttle body revealing a tunin screw for a little more fuel. Does anyone remember this or have any ideas for me.

    Thanks
    Mark

Hey that was me. That's exactly what you should do. It takes a long time to drill through the cover because it's stainless but It will be worth it. It's real easy to play with your fuel pressure after that.

Yes I remember it was you because our cars are very similar haha. I saw the page where you described the locations and how to do the procedure. Would you happen to know where it's at?

Hey, I wrote about it in my readers rides thread. It's real easy to play with your fuel pressure once you get that cover out. You should hook up a fuel pressure gauge to keep track of the pressure when you adjust the regulator. If your asking where the regulator is it's on the top of the cfi unit.

Awesome thanks for finding that for me. I'll set it to 46 and see what happens. Did you take the regulator off to work on it or did you drill it right on the car ?

No i didn't take it off. I put a rag over the throttle bores and vacuumed all the metal shavings that I made drilling. It will take a while to drill that plate out because it's stainless. You should probably buy a few good drill bits and use a good drill. It took a while...
