          No not at all, my father has lived in Quebec since the early 90s, the language isn't much of a problem. The drivers in Montreal are among the craziest I've ever encountered though!

            I'm guessing those timing cover bolts are 15s too?

            I'm gonna yank the cover/water pump together and deal with separating them when they're out.

              You kinda can't do that... Since some of the water pump bolts hold the timing cover on...

                  So take those out too and leave in the ones that only hold the pump to the cover?

                      hopefully. I glanced at a Chilton's and that's what it tells you to do - remove water pump and front cover as an assembly.

                      I just like doing as little of this as possible while hunched over the car.

                            On one side of the balancer, the rubber looks fine, but on the other side you can see cracks have formed. Will get a new balancer - I could get away with using the old one but I don't want to tempt fate and have it separate when I'm out for a cruise.
