I wanna paint my car, but should I do it soon, or should I do it after winter/salt/all that other bs. I need to paint the headerpanel before I put it on anyway, since its primer right now.

Won't really make a difference whether you do it now or after the salt/etc. as long as you have enough time to atleast get one good coat of wax on the fresh paint before the salt falls.

When I had my front end painted from the accident, my guy (family friend) said the standard is to wait 3 months, but you can stretch that if you're not gonna buff it or anything. I did wait the full 3 months and buffed the shit out of it and it looks great now. If you don't want to stretch the 3 month mark then just wait until after winter/salt/etc.

lol, get a chevy for winter driving
in all honesty, i do for the most part hate gm products,
but
1. my celebrity was a fun little bomber
2. i love Grand Nationals and regals
3. my moms suburban made a very impressive wall of smoke in walmarts parking lot.
but
gm has design issues(but what manufacturer doesn't), i don't like the distributor on the back of the motor. it makes tuneups on the scudburban very interesting considering i have to climb in there and sit on the fan shroud. who the fuck designs a power window motor with the track built into it? rather than change just the motor, you have to get the whole assembly, therefore also increasing the price. and theres a whole shitload of other things, but as mentioned. no manufacturer is perfect. and who the fuck designed the c6 vette? it looks like a ferrari, not a vette. what a fucking yuppie car. i'll take a new 05 GT over that thing anydaySave a seal, club a liberal.
