    new car checklist

heres the list of stuff i plan on doing as soon as i possibly can to the new vic after i ascertain its true condition. alot of this may seem overkill but hey, i am erring on the side of caution

    pcv valve, grommet and screen
    adjust the tps
    check the timing
replace the iac(shifty had a brand new one and pete sent me one)
    plugs
    plug wires
    cap
    rotor
new starter(shifty's is brand spanking new so why not)
    new regulator(shifty's was brand new)
check the tv pressure and replace grommet with brass one if it odesn't already have it(if it hasn't got the grommet, i'll take it off of shifty)
oil change(i got a box of 20 or so fl-1as i put on layaway at work just before they went on clearance )
new headlight switch(shifty has a new one)
    air filter
    fuel filter
trans filter change with new fluid
    lube up the front end
    grease all the hinges
get some of that graphite stuff in the keyholes

    now for the "non-essentials"

replace the lights up front with a set of new rectangular fogs
    clean the interior real nice
get some black carpeted floor mats with the blue oval
pull off of shifty the engine compartment braces, along with the undercarriage braces
    install teh pi cluster
install shiftys cd deck and the speakers
if the front swaybar is bigger on shifty than the new one, pull that obviously

nothing in that particular order either lol. any other suggestions ofr the essentials?

TV bushing should be first. Should bring one when you pick up the car

Gotta find some to fit where the headlights are. Put high-low in one spot and fogs in the other :slug:
