1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt

Yep, theyll match pretty well, but I think Im still going to need to repaint. theres scratches and cracks in the hood. A few dings and dents and the headerpanel is in primer.Comment

HEY.. that looks like what my crown vic looked like when I first bought it from the Fire Dept.... at least the front clip... the header panel was hit, and cracked.. replaced all of it from there forward...
header panel was black
bumper "surround" was bright lime green (Came off of a wrecked cab)
Also new grille
new headlight trim pieces
The car was white, with red stripes, green bumper surround trim, and black header panel... SOMEWHERE I have pictures of it... sitting in my driveway first with NOTHING on the front end except the bumper... then the Multi colored look... Finnally, i decide to go get something to drink... So I drove it up to the pub once I got done scaring my arms for life... from the sharp edges trying to reach up in the fender, to bolt the damn thing on.... So I get up to the pub.. with the white paint, red stripes, with no grille, no turn signals.. just the bulbs hanging out of the header panel, no headlights in the head light buckets... All my friends at the irish pub where I go walked in---- looked over at me and said "What the HELL happened to your car??" It was so funny.... I will HAVE to try to find the roll of film it is on, and get it developed.... (It was taken right when I converted to digital... )
So have FUN putting the header panel on.... the edges of the fenders are SHARP.. so be careful!!!

I know...Ive been there done that. That header panel actually came off my 89 Vic, then I sold it to Grimor, and now bought it back.Comment
