After surfing the web about carburators I think i found the most reliable ones: autolite 2100 2v and 4100 4v.
      Any pros/cons about them?

Huge cons: No aftermarket support, not produced new. Other than that, I'm sure they're perfectly fine.

'83-'85 Mustangs came with Holley 4180s, SFAIK.

What would your goals be for your carburetor?

2100/2150s are the simplest automotive carb i think, and are super reliable. also, you can still get the carb kits for about 30bucks.

Well, consider the source of the opinion. My experience with rebuilding a 2150 was an absolute disaster and is what led me to AFBs in the first place.

Just a trouble free DD. Also I was thinking of changing my address to Washington to my uncle place (They don't have emissions for 25 year old cars) and buy a FI 86 Vic/Marq.

I happen to have a holley 4180 sitting at home. It's just a 4160 with the idle adjustment in the baseplate and blocked off, though you can kinda gouge out the blockage and regain adjustment. I don't think it's good for anything other than a "correct" mustang resto. Unless you're anal like my and want to retain ford-style vapor cannister function and 1985 parts numbers on a car that never could have come with a holley 4-barrel.

I love running a carb. No sensors or computer crap to worry about, easy to tune, and has been very reliable.

I rebuilt one using a Tastykake box for gasket material once. $3 for a can of carb cleaner was all the money available. It was a 200k+ mile carb that had sat on the car for years before we touched it. After the rebuild, it ran another couple of years and the car was still running well when it was sold. The 2150 is just an awesomely simple carb. Or maybe it was 2100, iunno. Whatever would have been on a 71 Mustang with a 302.

Ok today I bought autolite 2100 with manual choke with a code: C5 TF Z . What does that code means?

C5 means C(60s) 5 (5ths year) so designed for model year 65. I don't know what the rest means, but yeah, it's from 1965 or newer.
