Anyone used Mustang silicone coolant hoses?

Hey guys, quick question (did a quick search and didn't see anything):

Has anyone used the aftermarket silicone hose kits for Mustangs? Example below:

Just wasn't sure if the Fox radiator had the same outlet size and location as a Panther.

Have a goggle at some pictures of a Fox engine bay ... the overall layout is similar, but that hose set is intended to clear a different arrangement of underhood obstacles than one finds in a stock(ish) Panther. The four smaller hoses may be useful to you IF you're running the fancy coolant pipe and IF the Fox heater-core location is comparable. The upper radiator hose, definitely not, and the lower radiator hose, who knows.

some gave me some from his mustang. Not a full set though so I can't speak for ALL the hoses.
By and large they don't fit...
The 90-degree elbow (bypass hose i think?) would fit.
I hardly think 1 silicone hose matters though.

Regular rubber holds up for years and years, don't frustrate yourself trying to kludge in hoses that weren't made for the car.

Just clicked on the exact link. OK, I have all but 2 of 'em.
Yeah, they really just don't work right. The large radiator hose to the upper left can kinda sorta work as an upper radiator hose, if you twist it up and then squash it when you close the hood.
        Short answer is no

The police duty Vic's had silicone hoses, mine's got'em. However, is there a source for them is the real question? Since they were issued on them, maybe?

I think the OE police silicone hoses are long obsolete. Someone on here, probably Tom W in Florida, tried to contact Goodyear about buying them and I think he was told they aren't and won't be made anymore.

Just saw this thread... The silicone hoses were manufactured by two companies... GoodYear and Gates. (I have done ALOT of research trying to find some for my 91 resto) Both maufacturers say no... Both did, however try to find me some that they may have had in their stock, with no luck. (They physically went and went thru the warehouse and looked and called me back, and they didn't have it.) I wanted to find some for my car, which the Fire Dept. shop had changed them out... (While the Fire Dept. still owned the car) Not knowing that they are a LIFETIME hose.... I went to pick the car up, and went ballistic when I saw what they had done. I tried to get them back, but they had already thrown them away... or so they said... (There was three of the mechanics had crown vics at the time... hmmmm...) I have found ONE of them on another Sheriff's car, (The top one) in a junkyard... The bottom one was cut.. Never found another one for the bottom... maybe one day...

Also, the GoodYear hoses were blue in color,
The gates hoses were green in color... Mine were the green ones... (In case someone comes across some in a junk yard!!!)

I went with new Gates ones. Not exactly what I wanted but wanted to get them swapped out before one blew (all but one are original 1987).
