Think i have a blown head gasket. Tore everything out of engine compartment but fuel rails on top of lower intake are stuck. Both of them. Got the quick disconnect AC line tools and i watch the youtube video and guy does it in 15 seconds. My engine has coolant all on the inside of it and in the crankcase so i need to get to those gaskets before my bearings go to shit. Any tips?

which kind of tool are you using, the one thats a clamshell design that closes over the fitting, or the one with the duckbill thing that pushes in? Sometimes the only trick is spray some wd40 in there and twist it a bit. The rubber O rings will stick after being assembled for many years.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

I used the plastic AC quick disconnect clamshell type rings but it has a small lip on the inside. I just went outside to give it another try and said screw the tools and went barbaric. Used a steak knife to wedge open the spring lock and got it out in a couple seconds with some WD40. Much thanks!1987 Mercury Grand Marquis 302EFI
