So i am starting to get a hand of EEC-IV stuff. since my block is not roller compatible(i think) i am going to have to swap the whole engine. My new swap engine will be from a 1990 Lincoln Town Car with mass air flow and a 5.0 SEFI. I can get the whole engine for $125. so today i started pickign at it got the EEC-IV ECU out and the mass air flow. also got off the throttle body(Do i need the throttle linkages to, if so how to remove them). Tommorow going to continue tearing the engine down. this lincoln has the tubular logs for the exhaust manifolds so i am pulling them off too. Gonna fish the whole wiring harness off too. Anything else i should get from it. I was gonna get an exploder motor but it was EEC-V so i wouldn't think it would work in my car as the plenum faces toward the opposite of the town car 5.0. to get more horsepower out of the motor what parts should i take from the exploder to make it HO.
