I have Lincoln logs on a GT40P engine in my '90 Town Car.
I did have to modify a socket (real easy) to get to plug # 5.
Everything thing else there are no problems.
I may swap someday to the BBK 1515 headers. They are chrome and only about $180 bucks. They are shorties but will flow better than the Lincoln Logs.
Here the Lincoln logs are installed on my car:

I know where there's a set of lincoln logs for $26 each (+ shipping of course) off a '90 TC that I've been pilfering from. PM me if you want me to grab them, I'm headed there on Saturday and stuff doesn't rust out here.1992 CVLX. 5.0 HO/GT40P/T5/3.73/trak-lok with bolt ons. 02 front CVPI setup, rear HPP setup, CVPI shocks around, F250 radiator, e-fans, and the power of 3G. 15.92@89mph, 2.4 60', 4700' elevation (5500' DA) with 3.08 open rear and the old oil chugging 289. RIP.

hah-- mind you, I don't go to the junkyard often, but for this project I went last Wednesday afternoon and saw just one 5.0, a 1999 mercury mountaineer. I make it back Sunday early afternoon, visit the mountaineer again and consider pulling the heads, and I also notice a new v8 explorer with some guy working under the engine. Not sure of the year, and he's claimed it besides... so I pull the mark vii computer and two pieces of trim that are banged up on my own car, and before I leave I check out that explorer again... the other guy is gone now, and what do you know, '96! The intake is gone already, and whoever was there earlier and cleaned up for the day even left vise grips under the hood.
I get to bed early Sunday night and make it back to the scrapyard 7:30am monday morning in the rain and claim my gt40 heads before anyone else could get to them. I'm sure they'd have vanished by now already: after all, since I was at the yard Wednesday and it wasn't there, and again Sunday and it was... the explorer intake vanished in 4 days or sooner.
...on craigslist there are 3 sets, all with asking prices of $250-$400 :-/

I've been damn lucky at the local pull and pay, I've found a few unicorns over the past few months. Like my 2000 Mountaineer engine that's so clean, a Pontiac Grand Prix GTP to steal the M90 off of, a F44 "heavy half ton" Chevy to steal the super rare 6 lug 9.5" rear end from in 4x4 width, the later "light 3/4 ton" to steal the 7200# GVWR leaf packs out of, the list goes on. It helps to live in a town of 300,000 with Denver an hour north of you though. . .1992 CVLX. 5.0 HO/GT40P/T5/3.73/trak-lok with bolt ons. 02 front CVPI setup, rear HPP setup, CVPI shocks around, F250 radiator, e-fans, and the power of 3G. 15.92@89mph, 2.4 60', 4700' elevation (5500' DA) with 3.08 open rear and the old oil chugging 289.
