    New Tires!

Well here is the new tires on the '84....

Went with a little taller tire.. to fill up the wheel wells a little...

The old tires are on the floor in the foreground.... They were sooo dry rotted.. he took them out and put them in their dumpster, to keep anyone from using them...

$365.00 in two days, between the windshield and tires... Thank God for overtime!! (40 hours during the last pay period)

They also checked the front suspension for me... no play anywhere except the drivers side outer tie rod end is bad.. looks like someone smacked a curb or something with it... I'll have to change that out... Otherwise, he said other than maybe some new shocks, to make it handle a little better.. he said the front end has NO play anywhere!!!

Taking it in next week to the transmission shop to have him check the kick down adjustment.. it still seems a little tight... It won't shift without chirping the tires! I went by some high school kids today going to the tire shop.. and just as I passed them.. it shifted and REALLY chirped the tires... they about pissed their pants! I laughed all the way to the tire shop!

Agent Tony DiNozzo… It only seems longer….

365 in two days? In the first month I owned the squire, I averaged 200/day...

Car looks great. Should consider some mustang/t-bid 15/16" wheels... The old mustang turbines or 10 holes look great on the II's

What kind of car are you driving? My old '89 TC would chip from a stop and my current '90 GM spins the right rear no problem. I actually scared myself the other day at a stoplight. Some asshole "had" to turn around right in front of me. We're both at the line, (I don't have a muffler on the car), when the light changed and I floored it. The right rear spun hard, so I let off after I heard that SCREECH. Scared the shit out of the other guy too.

Why are you running 31x10.5-15 tires on the rear? I hope you also put a 4.30:1 or 4.56:1 in the rearend too?
