Right, because my plight is somehow more pathetic than your own. At least I tried about half a dozen times before getting fed up with it, as opposed to driving somebody down from half way across the country at the first sign of trouble (which, oh by the way, was caused by screwing up something so basic as installing a torque converter).

Either way you look at it, my pathetic plight still comes out ahead of yours. I just didnt have to try a half a dozen times before failure, to have it fixed right.

Scott is here for alot more than just engine/tranny work. We've basically rebuilt the whole front suspension/steering and front/rear braking system.

You right, you didn't have to try at all--it just took a phone call.

You know Stu, you didn't fix yours. So in the end you both did the same thing, he just didn't waste as much time as you did not fixing it.

BTW, how did you spend $12,000 on your car in the past 3 years, and still manage to have 0 major upgrades??

there you go with more dickhead remakrs stu... at least Justin was smart enough to not continue wasting time and money like you did, trying to repeat everything and hope the problem went away.
He called a pro and is learning something, instead of trying to teach himself by trial and error.
I think its obvious who the dummy is.

I don't think so. Each time I changed something in the way I was doing it, hoping to figure out what I was doing wrong. In the case of the later rebuilds I replaced the valve body each time with a new TCI performance unit. I even decided to buy an entre reman transmission from Phoenix. Funny how the transmission shop had to play with the "brand new valve body" in the "fresh reman" for 2 weeks before deciding to dump it in lieu of another one.
