I don't recall, but are there 2.25" tail pipes that can be ordered, or are you guys having something fabbed up by a shop? The only set I found on Summit were for a '94-ish Impala, but came with a price of $105/each. No pic on their site, either.

Yep, the Flowmaster pipes with resonators are the only likely-looking OTS 2.25" tailpipes I know of either. Though it sounds like the price has gone up since I last checked.
I suppose you could always buy 2.25" Mustang tailpipes and modify them, but that'll take a lot of cutting and pasting to make them really fit neatly. Just because I've demonstrated that unmodified Mustang tailpipes can be kinda-sorta made to work if you have low standards for clearance, doesn't mean it's a particularly good solution.
How much do people usually pay for custom-bent pipes in a size they specify?Last edited by 1987cp; 10-14-2010, 09:40 PM.2012 Mazda5 Touring | Finally working on the LTD again!

if using just regular exhaust pipe... custom duals tend to run about $300 around here (no tips, just stock shape and size). larger size... more cost for materials, but same labor cost. Probably $400. Add mufflers and cats (if needed) and it goes up from there.

Also, based on these links:
... I'd be surprised if the material cost from going from 2" to 2.25" tubing would be very significant.2012 Mazda5 Touring | Finally working on the LTD again!

Scotts pipes look real good too. I am surprised that something that old has held up that well for so long.~David~
