i ordered the plugs $6 for both and 4 to ship I cannot find a mustang aod Governor anywhere i have been told they are not sold anymore part number e8zz-7c063-a Any leads or anyone have one siting around they would like to sell i have paypal thank you in advance

Plugs? For the thermactor passages in the heads? Just get 5/8-11 bolts.

You can get a governor from TransGo. AOD-HIREV is the PN, IIRC. Even SilverFox on Click Click racing, who produces his own line of adjustable valvebodies, remarked that he does use TransGo governors (but nothing else from them).

PCV port is only for if you choose to run a PCV valve. If using a crankcase evacuation system or two breathers, cap the PCV port.

My suggestion (based on my own limited experience tooling with my own junk) is always to leave vacuum advance disconnected, at least at first. Once you get the rest of your advance curve where you want it, you can consider using the vacuum advance to tailor it for better drivability, if desired.


Oh, and I assume you're using a relay to power the igniton? I'm using a regular 30A Bosch relay with a 20A inline fuse on my HEI.
