    coolant leak

I have a slight coolant leak on the passenger side of my car its after I am on the gas or rev up the motor it drips down on the ground. I cant see it from top but its almost like its behind the motor. Any thoughts? I was thinking it poped a head or intake gasket.

atc car? if so it could be the thermal blower lockout.....those things always leak

wash the engine good and warm it up and check for fresh coolant, like pete said, there are freeze plugs on the head, the intake gasket might have gotten crusty and started leaking too, i've seen it all lol

The heater hoses connect back there to the metal pipe. Might be leaking at the connection.

i had the same thing on my colony park last year. it was a heater core hose at the heater core. there was a split by the clamp.

Sounds like a heater core hose. I had a pinhole leak on mine, and it would only show itself when the engine was revved.

could the pin hole leak cause me to smell radiator fluid when heat is on and condensation on the inside the windows.

Get up underneath the glove box against the firewall and feel/look around for coolant leaking out of the heater box. If it is leaking and you don't want to fix it now just bypass it so you don't blow it up and flood the interior. Just be careful if you bypass it...as there are sharp things in the area and you could rub a hole in the hose under the hood and have a leak. Happened to me.

yes... also, a small leak from the heater hose that leaks down the pipe and onto the casing of the heater core will do this too. Check the hoses at the firewall for leaks when the car is warmed up.

It's usually a pinhole leak, but you may get lucky and just need a new hose or two or to tighten the clamps.

Yes it could. Check those hoses, make sure the clamps are tight, and there is no green film around them (indicating a leak). If you don't see anything, chances are you got a bad heater core. If it does turn out to be a heater core, let me know, I've done 3 box panthers and I can get it done for you quick (for a fee).
