First off learn what the caps lock key is (not being a dick but it is hard to read all caps.)

about the exhaust. does it split into 4 pipes after the mufflers ?

You have dual exhaust that goes into quad exhaust?

Either way, exhaust really only has the capability of adding or subtracting 10 crank hp. Nothing will give you much change. Stick with dual exhaust in some form or another.

          Welcome, mike!

Don't let these guys give you shit.

Personally, I myself would go with duals....

No changes in my car other than going from stock duals, with headers to aftermarket dual 2.5" I lost 3 tenths of a second off my 1/4...which is more like 30HP. The exhaust on these cars are VERY restrictive.

A good dual exhasut with headers can give a good gain. Without actually getting a good description or a pic of your setup we can't tell you much.
As for the HO, it helps but there are many other things to do to make the car perform better.

I know I got much more than 10hp gain, and I went from a stock dual with gutted cats, to a true dual 2-1/2"

Of course, changing to headers is a different story. I would hope he would put some shorties in there when he drops in the HO.

I already had my headers, but the very first piece of pipe on the cats is like a 1.5" pipe, so I would have to say that my headers probobly weren't doing anything untill I upgraded my exhaust.

Guys thats my buddy Mike he was the other person who was up at Scotts with me this weekend past he has all the same setup as mine but he has one extra pipe coming out the sides in front of each rear tire. Now the pipes are behind the mufflers Scott did not have to cut them off to put on his H-pipe.. He just want to know is that a power loss he will have to take and if so i think he goin 86 the extra pipes...

Well, if they are y'ed before the mufflers, I don't think there would be a loss, there would be less restriction....

just think of it as having almost a next step up in pipe size after the muffler. I would just run 1 set of pipes. once that exhaust cools off a bit towards the ned you can restrict it a tad more and keep the velocity up (2.5" pipe/2.25" tails)

RIP Jason P Harril, we'll miss ya bro
