    Turbines, BAHH!!!!

I cleaned up my Merc finaly, waxed it and I had turbines on my parts car and I thought it looked kinda nice. I'm gutting the vic and I thought I would save em and then sell them. So I cleaned them up and put them on my car and all I can say is that they look DISGUSTING. I hate them but I had to do it cause I need dog dishes and dont have the steelies with the nubs for them. So if any body wants a set of turbines with good tires I will trade ya for steelies with dog dish caps off a cop car(like Stu's car). I will get some pics tomarrow of the nasty stock look it has now. It lost its badass look for turbines with whitewalls. But my car looks good (aside from the rust and paint chips) all waxed up (there is no shine like mothers!).

It might not look as bad if it did not have white walls and a bigger tire profile. They dont fill the wheel wells like before. I thew em on also because they dont look too bad on your car. But I must have benn halucinating :drug:

I'm not a big fan of the big center caps for them though. I decided I liked them better without the caps than with on my car.

*shrug* i like the caps, tho eventually I'm going to be trading in my turbines for lace wheels. Maybe. I want to clean the peeling clearcoat off and re-paint the inner part of the spokes black first before I jump to any conclusions. Personally I hate steelies without hubcaps, tho dog-dish with beauty rings look fine. The naked stock wheels are just fugly IMHO.

I had the "black naked wheels" with black wall tires and thoght it looked good until the paint started chipping and my hubs started rusting.
Then I got a flat and was on my spare steel wheel that was covered in rust and had I white wall, then I destroyed that one, doin HUGE burnouts every where. So now I gots the turbs/turds. Ha Turdines :drug:

I like both, but I prefer turbines. Then again, it all depends on the character of the car.
