    Pass. Side Vacuum hose mess...

Since I no longer have the smog setup, I'm left with a bit of a mess I want to clean up on the passenger side fender. I drew a diagram to explain the situation.

What I am wanting to remove is circled in orange. Is it ok to remove this, or does the vacuum reservoir and check valve play a role in the EGR's workings?

If not, I will run a line directly from the intake to the EGR solenoid.

Hopefully someone can solve this for me!

Vacuum canister is for a reservoir of vacuum when it is low. I'm not sure that it would have anything to do with EGR operation. All of that stuff could be deleted easily. As long as all of the lines are completely plugged and removed. EGR will still work just fine...

Get rid of it. The plumbiung mess has a check valve that allows the canister to only work for the smog control solenoids, not the EGR solenoid. EGR doesn't operate at WOT anyway. All you need is one vacuum line to the EGR solenoid, and one line out to the valve.
