    Eating starters

ok, my 87 mgm had an issue before when the starter wouldn't retract and kept turning with the flywheel when running at idle. When I shut of the ignition, the starter would continue to run. The only way I could get it to stop was by disconnecting the battery. I figured the starter was getting bad so I went ahead and replaced it.

Now the new starter is doing it a couple of months down the line, same shit. This time I tinkered with it a bit and it stopped spinning after a few ignition cycles.

My only thought is that I got an issue in the wiring somewhere, possibly an open in the hot side but I'm not for sure. Has anyone else had this issue? I want to tackle this quick to save my current starter.

Everything to do with interior and body electrical including headlights and tail lights. CFI specific discussions and AC/heating systems.
