    Slight Hesitation at Highway Speeds???

    Greetings everyone... I have a problem that has been erking me as of late... When on the highway I have a slight hesitation/pull back which happens at a continuous rate of about every 8 or so seconds.. Can anyone explain where my problem lies? Also what could cause the cruise control to go out every now and then? Thanks in advance....

    does it do this with the cruise control activated?
    sounds like the cruise cable needs to be adjusted

      examine anything going to/from the cruise servo.... off of the top of my head i'm not sure what's there besides the vac line but it works itself loose easily. generally any vac lines anywhere that you might suspect to be original, you can also suspect them to be swiss cheese.

        I have a bad vacuum dump valve on my Mark VII that causes that problem. Its leaky, so the cruise bucks and jerks. I sealed off the dump valve and the problem mostly went away. There is still some leakage at the cruise, but I haven't felt like pulling the fender to investigate. Stupid Foxbody cruise placement.
