I'll edit that to say tips larger than your pipe diameter, but big tips do look interesting to a lot of people and continue to be pretty popular.

I'm just needling the OP because he's sweating over tips instead of his busted manifolds. Or so I'm left assume ... hopefully I'm wrong and the manifolds are now fixed.

Every time I see a panther with huge ass tips I think of a rotted out redneck truck with 2 HUGE crooked tips flopping out the back.

Boxes do not need big tips. Whales are the only panther that can pull them off.

For some reason rolled tips do not appeal to me. single layer tips are what i like.

I have no tips on my truck, and I have no tail pipes.

Its clean, and you don't get gassed in the cab.

With the may my truck sounds, I don't need any tips.

tips and tailpipes from what i heard magnify the sounds of the engine to get it louder and deeper.

My dads truck gets fumes blowing back in the cab at idle, not sure why this is a problem with trucks so much, but I haven't had it with cars. Even with the factory set up it was bad if you sat long enough.

I always thought it'd look pretty slick if you could get slim rectangle tips, either dual or quad, to sit right below the bumper...

Maybe I'll play with that idea once I get my duals...
