    Exhaust Tips Thread

    I want to see what you guys exhaust tips look like. I am looking to run my stock panther tailpipes with tips to come out below the bumper.

    You ask how the hell are you going to to that.

    well with extensions and an elbow that's bent 70 to 80 degrees until it clears the bumper. Then put tips on it.

    Look for Mr Land Yacht's pics. He's got his set up the exact same way, just with 2.5" pipes.

    Myself, I prefer the no-tips look. I like to have as little as possible that makes it look to police or passers-by like I think my car is fast!

    This probably should have been in OT, btw.

        I have downturns under the bumper, looks approximately stock but with 2.5" pipes.

          I have two foot long rolled edge tips you cant see where they meet the pipe, just the tips themselves .. i think in my opinion it looks okay but i wish i had the cut out parts in the bumper for them to sit into.

            Tailpipes don't clear my back tires. Wish they did.

              Mine "tips" - the tailpipe sticking out the back, not quite like stock but similar. They actually clear the rear bumper by an inch or so.

                  show off your exhaust tips take pics. I got 22" exhaust tips going on my car with a single layer 45 degree slanted cut 4" outlet hole.

                    that's what I call a megaphone tip

                    Stock size chrome tips cause the shop that put the duals on the vic cut one tail too short and fixed it by putting tips...
