Is there a particular brand that you guys seem to prefer? I have bought FRAM filters previously but I'm reading a ton of bad press about em and thought I might switch brands if they're that awful.

I'll use Motorcraft, SuperTech, Purolator, Wix, just about anything. Only Fram I ever used was on my old Chevy, mostly because I didn't care about that truck lolComment

i use motorcraft on the towny and on customers fords iff i see they use motorcraft filters
on everything else i use either supertech or stp.......they are both the same exact filter.....made by champ.......under 3 bucks ea

Motorcraft filters are a Purolator PureOne filter inside a regular Purolator case. Wix also makes a good filter. The Walmart ones are actually OK too.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

Walmart seems to only sell fram filters here. I buy the more expensive of them but I'll find a Motorcraft one this time around.sigpic
