SN95 intake?

Before I pick some stuff up, I need to ask this....

Can a SN 95 intake with the curved inlet work on our engines? Or am I going to have clearance problems? I know I have to move the battery to the opposite side, and that's no big deal.

Definitely pass. Wont work whatsoever without installing new TV cable and throttle cable.

Well, I'm curious... what kind of fabrication does it require? I'm fairly handy when it comes to things like that. Like I said, it's free, but if it's too extreme, I'll just wait till she finds the other HO intake.

save yourself headaches and drop $100 on an explorer intake, you'll be better off

All the cables, EGR is completely different setup, vacume lines are different, requires stamped steel valve covers (aluminum & aftermarket are too tall), battery has to be moved, new filter and intake setup is required, wiper motor box has to be cut to clear the intake on the driver side (those with the wiper motor mounted upside down factory have to convert to the older style, motor on top, wiper setup).....I think that's about it for just the intake.

Do like jayh says, just get an explorer or GT40 intake. The only reason it was used in my car is that we got the whole engine new crate from Ford. And dissembling a brand new 0 mile warrantied engine just didn't seem right.
