Definately looking into this for the wagon. With the way gas prices are going, I don't want ot even move the car around the parking lot! Not finding too much info on doing a conversion on an efi though.

I've seen stuff on propane carbs before. My uncle has a forklift with a Chrysler slant six that runs on propane. Funky looking carb arrangement from what I remember, but its been a while. From what I recall, to get the same energy from propane as you get from gasoline, you have to burn more of it. Supposed to be the equivalent of like 140 octane tho.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

I think propane here is about $2/gallon, and gas is $2.30. The fact you consume more propane than gasoline for the same power probably would make it cost about the same per mile i would think.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
