    Carb rebuild tonight... sorta...

I finally got my jets for my carb, thanks to Parker Carburetion (www.parkercarburetion.com) and picked up a carb rebuild kit.

Im not going to rebuild my carb totally, but I am going to do the following:

    - Install new power valve
    - New jets (going to try the #48's)
    - Set the float levels IAW factory levels

    Lets hope this helps!

Also, I am going to tweak other things as well... Mostly in the name of efficiency and power... Trying to get a happy medium..

Once I get the carb going good, im going to install my Chrome V/Cs and clean up the motor!

Watch those replacement power valves. When I rebuilt that shitty carb, the power valve didn't fit right. Fucking junk.

              Goddamn replacement power valve. :nonono:

I put the one from the kit in, and it made my car run like ass.

I put the old one back in, tweaked my settings, and all of a sudden, im running good again. WTF???

No, the one in the rebuild kit was a pile of worthless shit.

                    No six pack CFI!

why not, other than the fact i don't believe theres a 6pack intake manny that would support a motorcraft 2150. if it fits a 2150, it'll fit a cfi

No, what I meant was that did both power valves have the same vacuum rating?
