    correct speedometer gear

Probably not the correct forum but, in stock 2.73 rear from with aod what is the speedometer gear tooth count? and what do I need to switch to for accuracy with a 3.27 rear? Believe it or not, I can't get an answer at the parts counter at Ford.

    Thank you.

That chart should be stickied. How can I tell if I have a 7 or 8 tooth drive short of visual check?

1990 and up are 8 tooth. 1989 and down are 7 tooth.
