To all who are running no cats and Magnaflows

How does it sound in the interior? Is there a drone? I really want to do this (all my saving is beginning to pay off lol) and from all these youtube videos. I've heard a lot from the outside, but not much from the inside. I'm all for a loud exhaust, but we had a loud muffler on my dad's truck and it was driving me insane whenever I had to drive it because of the interior noise.

I can hear my dual magnaflows over moderate music under acceleration inside with 4 cats. If that is any help. My truck has no cats and dual magnaflows off a 350 with manifolds and it is very loud inside, however we are talking a completely different vehicle.

I had the car out for a romp on the highway today, I almost forgot how fun it is. Cruising at like 1900 revs, I had to have the music up a bit louder than normal, but you gotta remember I was doing about 100 with winter tires so road/tire noise and vibration is a factor. I haven't had real tires on since the mufflers but I'll report back when I do.

Mine resonates pretty bad but I also have it dump before the axle.

stock duals and magnaflow cats and mufflers... gets noisy behind the car (not real loud though, but loud enough to get your attention)... but you can barely hear it in the car or even in front of the car. without some tail pipe flares (tips to a larger size) it stays pretty directional.

if you dont have tailpipes, it will be loud inside

magnaflows, under part throttle, really arent that loud

i've got headers to 2 hi-flow cats, and then dumped flowmaster super 44's at the axle and its not to bad inside. Pretty loud and throaty outside (but not ignorant loud) but not much noise inside only at higher load low RPM's.

I have no cats with Magnapacks on the Linc, with a cammed 408w pushing air through them. Kind of useless for comparison :p

Straight thru Maganaflows are usually pretty good in the car. The XL Turbo line I can't talk about as I have only heard about them, never used them. I can see them drone a bit due to the hollow chambers though.
