      CFI injectors are like 48lbs/hr. So, actually, the pump might be sufficient for a lopo, a HO might be pushing it.

      2x48=96
      8x14=112
      8x19=152

      Though the duty cycle will be lower for the smaller injectors. I think it would be fine.

        there is a solution...

        1. Drop tank
        2. Install Mustang GT Pump
        3. Have a nice day

        Also, it will prob help when you change the sock on the fuel pump...

          Ah, but you forget, it's an external pump on the framerail...

            Mike, Most 85 CFI cars I have seen have a single, high pressure fuel pump in the tank. Adams 85 2door car had a single pump in the tank.

            my understanding is frame mounted fuel pump started going away late 84. A few of the early built 85 year models (built in the 84 calender year) might have ended up with frame mounted pumps.

              oh, forgot to mention.......... CFI to EFI swap is doable, just need lots of parts, time and mechanical skill.

              Also keep in mind you will probably have to swap the TV linkage since most CFI cars use a TV rod and EFI uses a cable. You may have to swap the throttle linkage and cable too.
              you will need to swap exhaust manifolds or install headers and Mustang H-pipe since EFI requires 2 02 sensors

              because the amount of work that has to be done, you may be better off installing a complete HO engine. EFI stuff will be much easier with the engine removed.

                  Oh, well then, that'll be even easier. I also have the brackets for the TV cable...I think...I also have plenty of stock manifolds with O2 sensors...
