http://fordfuelinjection.com/?p=6 has the pinout for the TFI module. Basically you just disregard the connections out to the ECM. Feed it power, and connect it to the coil and it will make spark. No advance of course, so it makes a pretty shitty ignition system but it will make spark.

I was only talking about the code. I've never come across it, but I've seen a certain someone/self proclaimed guru on other boards, talks about it all the time. Ive seen this person post BS on several occasions though, but on the other hand he has posted good info also, so who knows...
I've dealt with a couple of bad computers that would throw random codes. One comes to mind that complained about an open spout line and a tfi module error.
well after changing out the IAT sensor with a new one, i cleared codes and did a rescan. the same codes poped up again. i guess its time to check wiring and the ECM

after didling around under the hood, i did a rescan and i ended up getting rid of the EGR code, which is sorta good lol. as of now, im waiting to get my thermal goop in the mail then will procced to put in the old distributor and see what happens. im really puzzled on why i still get a IAT code after i put in a new sensor in. is it possible that i installed faulty new parts on this car?lol with my luck latly, maybe...

well i got my thermal goop the other day so i set up the TFI for the old dissy. that thermal stuff has some awsome heat displacing properties according to the package. anywho, swapped out the MSD dissy and put back the old one with new TFI. did the timming, put everything back together and fired up the car. it ran like normal, so i desided to clear codes and rescan. for some reason, i still got codes 24 and 14 but, the car runs like a watch. so to be safe, took it for a good drive and it runs great. so that is all fine and dandy but, why do i have these codes still? or is the question...why cant i clear these codes?

It could be that the computer is messed up, or the wiring. I had a computer that threw a code 14 before. Code 24 is for the air charge temperature sensor.
i know, i put in a new IAT sensor. the old dissy never triggered any codes before i swapped it out. now i cant get rid of em.
