    Vac hoses

Does anyone have a detailed pic of the vaccum hoses on the valve cover for a cfi car. I got some valve covers and I cant use the old brackets on the valve cover so I am mounting it on my fender. it also lokks alot cleaner. I need to know for a good refrence when I go to hook em up. Also when I convert it to a carb can I just get rid of them?

I need it quick cause I need my car monday. Thanks a great deal in advance.

If you switch to carb you can eliminate all but 1 vac. line (power brakes) or 2 if you want to have vaccum hooked up to your PCV system.

as of right now i have only 1 vac line, but i might hook up my valve cover breather to vac.

I've searched the CFI forum and found a couple that help but what I am really looking for is a pic looking up to where the vac hoses go into the soleniods. And if possible a pic with the air cleaner off showing the choke and egr setup. Oh and somebody before me plugged a green hose to I think the egr could this cause any driveability problems? And there is a yellow hose with a 90 degree fitting on it, in the front of the engine where the A/C and water pump is, where does it go?

I figured it out, so now I have chrome valve covers and air cleaner without being covered by vac hoses and soleniods. I might snap some pics but I need to watch an auction on ebay for a 4bbl.

Ever considered taking the motor out of your parts car, putting the HO cam and heads on it, and putting the 4bbl on that with a set of 1.7 roller rockers?

Then, your car would really rock!!

Yeah I know what you mean but I can sell the motor and other stuff out of the parts car since its a low milage one, and use the cash for a Voodoo cam MSD and other good stuff. Then I dont have a junk motor laying around. Thats also Why I bought nice valve covers and an air filter so I can use it when I get a carb. Oh, and Pete I linked to your cardomain page and got some pics of the one you broke which helped alot with the diagram too.
