    Finally got it! Lightning EGR

    It's friggin huge. Perfect match for the 65mm Exploder throttle body. And will bolt right up to the vic cable brackets!

      67mm on one side tapers to 69mm. Prett damn big compared to the 52-54 on the lopo one!

        1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt

            The other thing I'm now wondering, whats the upper intake setup on a 351 Lightning look like? Potential for a 351 SEFI box swap? That would fsking pwn.

              That would be the Totally Tubular GT-40 upper. It is about the same height but might be a little taller than a Cobra or Explorer intake and gives little advantage for low RPM's. except for a weight savings.

                If you can find a complete lightning upper get it! As stated it's a GT-40 Tubular intake, and it has the correct EGR for our cars, and a 65mm throttle body.

                I haven't been able to find any others. There was a complete upper on ebay awhile ago, but it's gone.

                Oh, and the EGR is obsolete from ford. If you can find one it's $280 bucks.

                  Hm. I'm thinking 351 SEFI box. Tho to be practical, finding a complete 351 Lightning engine with the intakes and such just to drop in a box would probably not be cost effective in the power to money spent department.
