    Just a little Ford trivia.

        The 410 is a 390 with a 428 crank I believe.

I dont like tar asses... There to damn ugly...

Ide want one from the 150 as I imagine the trany backing it will be able to handle a load. As the stang will be for light weight. So yep I see me one day harboring a 302 and trany from a 2012 f150 to go in my car

                  Yessir, it is.

It is possible to get 428 cubic inches out of a 390, but it involves sonic-checking the cylinder walls to verify if there is enough meat for a (I think it was...) a .080 or .090 overbore (to get to a 428 stock bore), and using the 428 crank.

The block isn't as strong as a 428CJ block is, or a 427 block, of course, but hey, now you have a 428?

Oh, and by the way, casually tossing a 428 crank into a 427 (provided you get the proper pistons) gets you around 454 cubes in an FE block....

They are just slash cut tips that were in stock at the exhaust shop. I like them a lot.

here is a pic from when i waxed them last. It's on ramps so I'm more comfy..

                        hope these help...

I hope it comes in the pick-up trucks...

400 hp in a new F150 would be nice... and durn impressive from a 5L.

The 5.7 Hemi is currently 390hp (383 in 3/4-1 tons), and the Toyota 5.7 is something like 380 hp. The GM trucks have an available 403 hp 6.2 (or 6.0).

I'd say the 5.0 to be used in the trucks would probably be less than 400 hp, though.

with 400HP becoming the norm for a top-end pickup, the next "supertruck" is going to be absurd. If the Lightning made 380 when 250HP was stock... The equivelant now would be over 600HP to have the same ratio increase over the 400HP trucks you can find on any lot.
