Yeah. I pulled the vacuum from the MAP, but didn't actually unplug it. I'll grab a spare from the '89 at the Mustang shop when I get the ECM. Supposedly it ran great before he killed it.
I'll get that ECM and the MAP.
If neither fixes this thing, I'm tearing straight down to the timing chain.
If the timing didn't jump, I'm taking it to a shop. I'm done. I'd have been waaay better off having it professionally diagnosed for $85 by now, but it's gone past wanting to figure it out myself. Now I just want it fixed. I have a ported Trick Flow R intake on its way to my house, along with a complete "factory CAI" set-up in the front seat, 3G swap kit on my kitchen table, cylinder heads on my F150 passenger floorboard, and a set of 2008 Mustang GT 18s coming this weekend. I thought this would be a speed bump on the road to having a fun car, but this is really killing me right now and I want it fixed.
