I was looking around the 'net today and I cam across these rear disks for '94-04 Mustang GT or V6. http://www.americanmuscle.com/cobra-...ers-black.html Does anybody know why these wouldn't work, on a 1990 Crown Vic? I have been thinking about it, and I cannot think of any reason why they wouldn't. Same wheel bolt pattern, and goes on the same axle. So??. Also they are 11.65 vs the commonly swaped '92-97' CV's 11.42. Maybe a little pricey vs JY, you do get everything in one shot.

If they bolt up to the rear axle housing, it probably ought to work. Personally I don't like parking brake systems that hook up to the caliper like that, but thats just my preference. I'd rather have the drum setup that Panthers use. The other thing, that extra quarter of an inch isn't going to improve things a whole bunch. The rear brakes do a lot less of the stopping than the fronts, so smallish improvements in the back won't be very noticeable.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
