Hey guys, my apologies if this has been discussed before.
There are some C4C 5.0L Explorers in the yard near me, I cannot buy a complete engine (nor would I want to) but the heads / intake / etc are fair game.
I was curious what I should pull at the same time - head obviously, but intake? manifolds? injectors? What else?
For comparison I have stock 5.0L (E7) heads on the shelf, an HO cam, 19 lb injectors, stock Mustang intake and exhaust manifolds, and other bits. They have a "core charge" (why I don't know) on heads you pull so I will probably dump the E7 heads in exchange. Everything else is flat rate.
