Are you sure the speedometer cable isn't just broken? That's the most likely cause of your problem, and you should still be able to get a cable from a parts store or perhaps your friendly local Ford dealership.

cable is in the odometer works numbers move and when i reach 55 neddle moves only a little. ill google i just thought there was a good place you guy might recommened
See where your local police department has theirs calibrated. They should be able to fix it, or at least tell you where to go. Local dealership probably would know that info too.

Looks like the dropping resistor for the fuel gauge. Might also be called an instrument panel voltage regulator. If a new one isn't available from Ford, one can be found on the back of any cluster. Check it with an ohmmeter to see if it reads something. It should show some amount of resistance, I'm thinking a couple hundred ohms. Why are you looking to replace it exactly? The only thing that could possibly happen if it failed is your fuel gauge wouldn't read. If the gas gauge works, its good.
