    Mark 7 saga Part II

    OK.
The new injectors are working great. Idle is smooth with no misses as before. Shifting into 3rd at low speeds chugs as expected at low rpm, but no kicking or missing. Gas mileage is way up. Good to go.

    Now.

Not sure if it's a symptom of the HO upper or other issue.

At cruise speeds I feel what can be described as a hard miss. Real quick, but very noticeable. Not consistent and not noticeable during acceleration.

Also, when I let off of the gas the engine speed drops abruptly. almost like the engine shuts off, but it doesn't.

I used the EGR and IAC off the HO. Could those be the problem?

I used my new TPS and EGR sensors.

And, The vacuum plumbing was different on my LOPO Manifold as opposed to the HO one. The HO has an additional vacuum source that is on the underside part of the upper that hangs out over the valve covers. I just plugged that and replicated the original LOPO vacuum routing.

The extra tee thing is part of the PCV plumbing. Not super important, and honestly it won't matter which way you run it. If you have the proper hoses, it won't hurt to hook it up, but if not you can just pull that tee out and put a pipe plug in there with some sealer to get rid of it.
