no o ring......make sure that it isnt broken

if its not, take it out, clean all the oil off of it, clean the oil from the hole in the block, put rtv around the base of the dipstick tube and install it.

btw oem dipstick tubes for the boxes are obsolete.....i got the last one over a yr ago........if you need a new tube use a used one or order a stick and tube for a 5.0 ho

Like scott said... Just be aware that the may not work because of the throttle body intake hose. The H.O. one angles forward... I finnally found one in a junkyard... To get it out without breaking it... take some vise grips with you, and clamp it to the bracket on the side of the tube where it mounts to the exhaust manifold bolt, After unbolting the hold down bolt. (Bring some PB Blaster) Gently twist the tube for a minute, to loosen it up, then start pulling, and it should come out... Then I cleaned it up using a gun brush on the end of a hanger to clean the inside out... then painted the outside black and installed it... no more leaks, and it looks good!!!
