    Stalling Issue

1989 CV, 302. For awhile now the car will sometimes run rough at idle, like at stoplights. Recently it started stalling, but only after I shift to park after driving for a bit. I will leave it running for a moment and without warning, not even a rough idle it will shut down. Car always restarts perfectly. What is wrong?

    thanks

When was the last tune-up? Hows your fuel filter? Are the vacuum lines in good shape? Thats where I'd be starting to look for problems, its likely something simple.

Agreed. Definitely check for vacuum leaks, especially on the crappy formed plastic vacuum lines used for the smog stuff.
