Pick Me A Tire Size

I'm buying a new set of tires within the next few days, a set of yokohama avid s/t's. Just looking for some advice on tires size for my stock 15x6.5 steelies. Its just a daily driver but I think I'll be hitting another autocross soon, I tried one over the weekend and I'm addicted.

Well Nitro, this is what I have 225/65 Front, and 235/70 rear.

If your rear end is lifted any (ie fresh springs, air shocks, cargo springs) this combo fills it in very nicely. Makes it look more even, the rear wheel well always looks a little more spacious, IMO.

235/60 is too short. i run a 31 in the back and it fill it real nice. Just need lower gears as it kills my power. Im swapping to 18 inch rims though.

235/60. Little bit lower CG, little wider. Get some 15x7's when you can.

Where did you autocross? I remember you telling me, but I don't remember where you said. I didn't get to run the wagon, the axle bearing is too far gone and I didn't want to chance it 60 miles from home.

I run 235/60 front, 275/60 rear...

The look, and traction is phenomenal..and I also see you are gonig for the Official tire choice of panthers, Avid S/T'S!!!

235/60 will be great on the front, but might leave alittle wheel space in the rear if you have the back boosted at all.

You will definitly handle better with the 60's - I got rid of them becuase my front end sits a little higher than most boxes for some reason, and it left a little wheel well space in mine. Plus I wanted fatter tires for the back, and they would look way out of proportion with each other, lol
