ok i have fixed the four hoses a red black tan and green, changed the fuel filter and a new battery!!! the problem started when i had to replace the battery after i put the new battery in it started to stall when i put it in gear start back up put it in gear and stall then it stopped and now its doing it again i dont understand and iam ready to ram the car in to a wall!!!! i looked all over the place for the stupid pcv value and cant find it!! but like i said this all started when i change the battery :crocktears:
What hoses did you replace? And the car is stalling if youu put it in gear at all. Does it bog down or it just turns off? When you put uure new fuel filter in are you ssure you got it facing the right way?
Also have you tried checking for codes?

hmm what 4 hoses that are red,black,tan,and green are you talking about? I'm afraid i dont have the same engine as you (im assuming you have a 302) otherwise i'd take a picture to show you...
I'm sure someone here can volunteer one..
Is your engine idle speed normal or does it seem lower? this problem sounds familiar, I'm sure someone on this site has encountered the problem b4 and can help you out. take a break and a deep breath, punch a pillow that always helps lol...

ok there are for four plastic vac hose that came from the fender one to the front of the upperintake that was green, one to the back of the upper intake that is red, a little black one that pluged right in to some heater hoes amd one down to the smog pump!! and yes the fuel fliter is on right! code check i havent done that dont know how to
O.K. It sounds the puters memory wiped out when the battery was replaced. Start the car, and let it idle for about 20-30 minutes. This will let the puter relearn the basics, so you should be able to start driving it again. As you drive, then the puter will learn all about the sensors, and if there's any problems, they should come up. And as mentioned, after your initial drive, scan for codes, if any. If no codes come up, you should be good to go.
